Well, this took far less time than I expected it to take! (Probably because of the lazy-ass shading. eheh.) The anatomy is crap, but I'm pretty proud of the horse: I haven't drawn one in years. View the background (without the figures over it) here.
Kai is  's, and is from his online novel The God Eaters, which I highly recommend. I gave it a sort-of review in my journal. The grey horse (who never gets a name in the book, poor thing) is my favorite character. ^^ [EDIT: before I forget, I used this stock by  as a reference when drawing the horse.] |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. This is pretty good, although I would like to point out that the horse looks enormous height-wise when compared to Kai. As far as I remember Kai is pretty tall, and the way it seems now his head would be on level with the withers of the horse, which would make Kai really short or the horse humongous.
Keep up the good work, maybe we can see some art of Ash next, eh?
...er... maybe the horse is... standing on a... rock?
maybe I'll have time to draw him someday. ^^
